The Daman Dubai Swimming Festival presented by jumeirah beach hotel & wild wadi waterpark.

The Daman Dubai Swimming Festival presented by Jumeirah Beach Hotel & Wild Wadi Waterpark, is a mass-participation swimming event for the entire community. Organised by Professional Sports Group and sanctioned by the UAE Swimming Federation & Dubai Sports Council, the event aims to attract amateur swimmers from all over the UAE in a bid to increase fitness across the community and raise awareness of safety in the water.

The event offers a choice of disciplines for individuals, families and teams from the age of 8+. These distances are accessible for all swimming abilities, including three Junior Splash Dash’s (100m, 300m and 500m), Parent and Child relays, Adult relays, the Swim the Burj and the Dubai Mile event.

Taking inspiration from the Midmar Mile in South Africa and Swim the Bosphorus in Turkey, our vision is for the Dubai Swimming Festival to have over 10,000 participants across 2 days by 2022. our aim for the Dubai Swimming Festival is to become a Top 5 open water swimming event worldwide, immediately in terms of media promotion and by 2022 in terms of participation.
