ATZE Music Theater concept

The ATZE Music Theater is Germany's largest music theater for children with over 100.000 spectators per year, including approximately 20.000 visitors to the ATZE guest performances throughout Germany.

The large theater hall accommodates 480 visitors, while the studio stage accommodates another 150 theater guests. Through extensive tours throughout Germany, the ATZE Music Theater is well-known far over the borders of Berlin. Main target groups are families and school classes with children aged between 4 - 12 years. In 2016, the theater celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Theatrical educational material

Theater education represents a substantial part in the offerings of the ATZE Music Theater. For all productions there are extensive accompanying materials and the possibility of a follow-up on stage. For the productions "The Prime Minister" and "Spaghetti Wedding" free taster workshops or free workshops for follow-up at the school are offered. The ATZE Music Theater works together with two primary schools in Berlin and a day-care centre in a multi-annual partnership through the programs "TUSCH" and "TUKI".
