The public park in Berlin - Pankow is with about 12 ha the largest park in the district and one of the most interesting in Berlin
Alone the historic entrance gate to the public park Pankow with the fountain behind it looks inviting and cozy. The park, through which the river Panke runs, is beautifully landscaped in the style of an Italian Renaissance garden. Above all, the rose garden located at the back part of the park is suitable for a romantic picnic.
If you do not have food with you, you can also enjoy breakfast or coffee, ice cream and cake in a beach chair in the beer garden of the coffee house Rosenstein.
Other family-friendly details include a children's playground with a splash, a hidden aviary with pheasants and peacocks and a goat enclosure.
