Versatile Children's Cinema Program

The Kinderkinobüro of the JugendKulturService stands for a versatile children's cinema program and is a competent partner for children's film in Berlin. The hallmark of all activities of the Kinderkinobüro is Theo Tintentatze, the children's cinema lion.

As a nationwide unique service facility, the Kinderkinobüro has been organizing cinema screenings for young people between the ages of 5 and 18 since 1986. Interesting films of different genres and cultures beyond the mainstream are presented in the cinema around the corner - and at reasonable admission prices. All around there is a service to children's and youth films with personal consulting on children's cinema phone, rushing film festivals for families and not at least, the Kinderkinobüro offers a requested film service for schools.

Sound media educational basis

Through monthly alternating children's film offerings and services the Kinderkinobüro promotes in different ways the early and continuous film education.The Kinderkinobüro prepares a sound media pedagogical basis on which further projects on film and media education can build on.

Movies with themes for all ages

With the Children's Film of the Month for children of primary school age and cinema at 10 and up for advanced moviegoers, the offer of the Kinderkinobüro includes interesting films that are tailored to the needs of different age groups with their themes, content, layout and length. With it's cinema offers, the Kinderkinobüro offers for children what is essential for adults: an attractive and varied cinematic experience. The difference is that big cinema costs little money here!
