The Museum of Communication Berlin is considered as the oldest postal museum in the World.

The Museum for Communication Berlin unites the past, present and future under one roof. Its permanent exhibition offers vivid insights into the origins, development and future of the information society. A series of attractive temporary exhibitions showcases the many different aspects of communication.

The Museum for Communication Berlin sees itself as providing a venue for encounters, exchanges and entertainment – in brief, for communication. It focuses on the changing approaches to signs, codes and media, and the effects these have on public and private life. In addition, the museum presents a classic and comprehensive collection of historic and historical objects. The museum’s Treasure Chamber displays a collection of valuable rarities, including the famous Blue and Red Mauritius. This website also contains details on the museum’s history and architecture.
