Your Way Through The Alte Pinakothek
The Alte Pinakothek is one of the world’s most important art museums. the museum is home to one of the largest collections devoted to the works of Albrecht Dürer and Peter Paul Rubens. Altdorfer, Cranach, Jan Brueghel the Elder, Van Dyck, Raphael, Titian, Rembrandt, Frans Hals, Poussin and Murillo are also represented with numerous central works. over 700 paintings are on exhibit in the gallery building, which was commissioned by King Ludwig I and built by his architect Leo von Klenze from 1826 to 1836.
