A mini-musical adventure will be created and children will present a singing, dancing and acting showcase for family and friends at the end of this fun, introductory course.
Components include:
- Voice and song: Children will develop confidence singing in front of an audience
- Movement: Children will create simple movement routines to support their mini musical performance
- Physical expression: Children will participate in games and exercises that promote expressive movement, physical command and spatial awareness
- Characters: Children will experiment with vocal and physical expression to create a character for performance
- Performance and collaboration: Children will work as part of a team to develop a short ensemble singing and acting presentation
