The Holistic Camp is a programme which has been developed over many years, and is able to be customised to suit each child’s personality and needs.
The children learn to express themselves through intuition, movement work, art, meditation and sound. We develop their knowledge of yoga, movement and dance and mindfulness practices including meditation and breathwork, to empower them with basic life skills such as improved concentration, greater control and awareness, and the ability to relax. Through developing these life skills, the body and mind strengthening enables the children to communicate in a positive way which assists and deepens understanding of their mental wellbeing and helps their social and emotional skills.
In this camp, we have invited a guest artist to share beautiful print-making art with @loulauwerys and will be collaborating with @danielsonicrojas for embodied movements, @teacher.yvonne for collaborative games using her yoga cards and @joliemichelleow for her mindfulness and therapeutic art exercises to calm down the nervous system and nurture creativity.
We aim to create motivating experiences leading to a rewarding and positive mindset.
