Billie Butterfinger loves to play video games. Her friend, Norman Sulaiman loves to read books instead. Billie thinks that books are boring. However, after noticing that Norman seems to enjoy books so much, she decides to give it a try and read a big book she got for her birthday.
The book transports the two friends into Paper Town, a wonderful world full of paper people. However, their adventure leads them in an encounter with Julius Scissors and his pet monster that have been terrorising the paper people. Can Billie and Norman save the people of Paper Town?
