This year Espalanade is excited to bring you Annual offering the SIFAS Festival of Classical Indian Music, Dance & Arts.
The Festival is longer this year with many more local Singapore talents getting the opportunity to perform on the SIFAS Stage.
The Festival’s offering from the Indian shores will showcase the highly accomplished artistes Ranjani-Gayatri, Sanjeev Abhyankar, and Kala Ramnath.
The Festival will feature a rare South Indian Guitar Solo by R Prasanna who will team up with percussion stalwarts "Ghatam Karthick" and Prapancham Ravindran.
Prakrti Vikriti, Nature's Nature: This year SIFAS will present a show conceived and set to music by a team of professionals under the aegis of Dr Pappu Venugopala Rao and Dr Sriram Parasuram, and choreographed by own Gurus. It will bring together over 35 senior students, alumni, musicians and Gurus from SIFAS and India and will be performed at the Esplanade Studio on 17 & 18 March 2018.
In addition the the concerts, the Festival also feature workshops / Masterclass sessions to be conducted by accomplished visiting artists: Kala Ramnath, Anjana Nath and T.R.Sundaresan.
And for the first time, the Visual Arts will present their artwork at the Festival along with many workshops and a SIFAS Festival Bazaar.
