Spend a lovely afternoon with the Toa Payoh West Community Club Chinese Orchestra as they present a repertoire of American music!
The music will include Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story Overture, George Gershwin’s I've Got Rhythm, a jazz take on the Cantonese classic 《旱天雷》, and many more!
About The Orchestra
Established in 2001, the orchestra serves as a platform for young musicians to develop their talents and to explore their passion for music. Led by its founding music director Zhang Yu Ming, the orchestra has won many significant accolades in the National Chinese Music Competition organised by the National Arts Council.
Note: Admission is free and on a first-come, first-served basis, please come early to avoid disappointment. Seating is limited and your group can only enter when everyone is present (no seat reservation is allowed). All ages are welcome and parents are encouraged to be mindful of their young children so the performance can be enjoyed by all.
