This playgroup emphasis on fun as kids learn the most when they are having fun.
There will be a balance between time spent in instruction and time spent in exploration, as this is where the deeper learning occurs. In self-directed play, children experience the joy of self-discovery, the freedom to pursue their own ideas without being constrained by a predetermined outcome or a “right way” to do things. Self-Directed Play encourages curiosity, allows for plenty of experimentation, and is important to brain development and learning.
This play session will start off with a circle song, and lots of dance and movement, then we will have story telling, followed by art & craft/ games and sensory free play. This play session is suitable for 6 moths to 5 yrs old.
There will be a bonus food play activity where kids will create a train snack!
Light snacks & refreshments will be served.
