This unique fusion creates a serene and inspiring environment for visitors to appreciate and engage with art in a natural setting. The programme is dedicated to promoting the appreciation of art and nature, while also serving as a platform for local artists to showcase their creativity.
About the Exhibition
Flourish features 57 exquisite artworks by 34 talented artists, each capturing the beauty and complexity of plants commonly found in Singapore. The exhibition spans a wide array of media, including watercolors, colored pencils, graphite, pen and ink, and acrylic paints. The artists had the creative freedom to choose any plant from Singapore's diverse parks, resulting in a collection that includes both familiar and lesser-known species.
Visitors will be treated to a stunning variety of artworks, from intricate compositions of roots, bulbs, bark, seeds, flowers, and fruit to focused studies on specific aspects of plant life, such as seed pods or leaves. Each piece is a testament to the artist's meticulous observation and deep understanding of plant morphology, showcasing the unique features and natural beauty of Singapore's flora.
