Participants will learn to create their very own digital shadow art.
Using the same body-tracking computer programme that is used for the art installation at the atrium of Marina Square, workshop participants will draw their own artwork and transform them into shadows that respond to their body motions.
This fun workshop is suitable for children from 6 – 12 years old, and we encourage parents to join their child for the workshop.
There are three workshop sessions:
- Saturday, 7 May 2022
- 11am – 12:15pm
- 3pm – 4:15pm
- 5pm – 6:15pm
*All participants will meet at the Atrium of Marina Square, where the projection wall of the art installation is. This is where the workshop facilitator will introduce the interactive digital body play experience for 15mins. Thereafter, workshop participants will head to the workshop space to create their own digital shadow art.
The workshop will be carried out by Dr. Jason Lim, lecturer at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and of YUME Architects.
