The Kid's Cycling Programme (8 weeks) is designed by the Singapore Cycling Federation Kids Academy for kids ages 4-14 years old with the aim of getting kids on bikes.

Participants will learn road safety, build life skills and boost confidence, all whilst having fun. Be it just off the training wheels or ready to start exploring, this is the programme for you.

The Singapore Cycling Federation (SCF) is the National Sports Association (NSA) recognised by Sport Singapore (formerly known as Singapore Sports Council) as the national body in charge of promoting and regulating cycling in Singapore.

Through the SCF Kids Academy, we support the existing cycling ecosystem by widening the participation base of the sport and complement our high-performance pathways. So, join us in getting kids on bikes and who knows, one of them might go on to represent Singapore in future!

Requirements

Ages 4 - 14years old (as of birth year).
Participants should be able to balance on a bike.
Participants with medical conditions must be certified fit by a doctor.

Classes once registered are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable. No make up sessions will be done for missed sessions.

Participants can choose to use their own equipment (Helmet, guards, bicycle) or rent from the Singapore Cycling Federation at additional $10 per bicycle per session or $40 per bicycle for all 8 sessions.

Coaches

Caleb Low –
Caleb is no stranger in the kayaking and mountain biking scene. Caleb regularly coaches in schools under the Singapore Cycling Federation Safe Cycling programme, and has a wealth of experience working with kids and youths. Beyond just coaching skills and techniques, Caleb hopes to pave the way for lasting experience in sports and the adoption of an active lifestyle.

Mohamed Elyas –
Elyas is a SEA Games bronze medallist and holds the record for being the fastest Singaporean over 1km on a bike.
