This Introduction to Leather Craft consists of 4 basic lessons.
Students will harness the following skill sets upon completing the 4 basic lessons:
- Proper way to cut a leather
- Trimming corners
- Burnishing
- Buttoning
- Riveting
- Shaving
- Beveling
- Ponging holes for sewing
- Saddle stitching
- Eyelet
- Stud button
Lesson 1: Card Holder, 5 May
Lesson 2: Coin Pouch, 12 May
Lesson 3: Spectacles Case, 19 May
Lesson 4: Lanyard ID Holder, 26 May
Duration of each lesson is approximately 5.5 hrs.
Creation and design of paper template will take 1 hr to 1.5 hrs. $80 material fee for all lessons to be paid to trainer. Materials include leather, accessories, paper and cardboard for product and design. Additional material fees such as extra leather and accessories may apply if you ruin the provided or first paid set during the process of crafting
