In a tutorial-like creative setting, children will learn about architecture in a playful way.
Studio BTY’s professional architect will guide them in their reflection processes as they put their projects into life.
In this workshop, the main activity will be creating a model for a shophouse that is transformed into a housing space including other activities that will help enrich children’s knowledge of architecture.
The shophouses’ transformation into residential spaces will provide children with an awareness of traditional elements and an understanding of architectural challenges that come with preserving heritage.
Through this workshop, each kid will build a model in wood and paper on a scale of 1:50. As little architects, kids will follow the same steps as professionals: imagine a concept, draw the plans and elevations and build a model.
