Initiated by City Developments Limited (CDL), the Youth4Climate Festival aims to provide Singapore’s youth with a platform to express their passion for the environment and wish for the future.
It aims to wrap up a series of community activities implemented by CDL in support of Singapore’s Year of Climate Action. Through the two-day concert which showcases a diverse line-up of dance, song and instrumental performances, young green advocates will galvanise like-minded individuals to step up and work together for a sustainable future.
The staging of Youth4Climate Festival at Singapore Botanic Gardens on 2 & 3 Nov 2018 will also augment the public outreach efforts by the National Environment Agency (NEA)- the Clean & Green Singapore (CGS) held the same weekend at Wisma Geylang Serai.
To expand public outreach and rally more people to pledge their support for climate action, NEA will be setting up CGS information booths at the venue as part of the fringe activities for the concert attendees.
Fringe activities:
- Climate Action Booth by National Environment Agency, Info booth by National Library Board, free Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Tutu Kueh and Traditional Ice Cream cart (while stock lasts).
Concert subject to prevailing weather conditions.
Concert-goers are advised to take public transport.
