CNY Film and Photo Camps

CNY Film and Photo Camps

Combining technology with nature exploration, Lifelong Labs offers 4-day signature photography and filmmaking camps – Film Production Stream and Digital Photography Stream.

  • Film Production Stream · ages 7+ · 9am-11am

A one-of-a-kind opportunity for young aspiring directors to produce their own film from scratch. From writing scripts to filming and editing footage, campers discover film production from all angles in this immersive learning experience.

  • Digital Photography Stream · ages 7+ · 12pm-2pm

Perfect for emerging photographers who want to take photos to the next level and abandon auto mode on DSLR. Students become masters of lighting, composition and Photoshop, creating truly stunning photographs while going on our signature field trip to Shek O.

It is impossible to write about Lifelong Labs's camps without mentioning their passionate team of creative educators led by expert photographer and filmmaker Mo (M.Ed Harvard). “Mo and the team's energy and passion to inspire our kids was incredible and so so rare these days among similar kids programs in HK. Our boys loved the hands-on experience of filming and editing and the interactive discussions that helped them discover their budding passions in filmmaking,” says a satisfied mother Erika.

Fundamental to this encouraging approach is small class sizes – just 4 students per cohort. Demand for a place at these camps is high, attracting families from far and wide. Lifelong Labs is truly a unique learning community where creativity is sparked and students' creative aspirations are turned into realities.

  • Date: 28-31 January, 2020
  • Field Trip: Shek O (parents and family are encouraged to join!)
  • Location: Lifelong Labs Studio, 1-3 Wing Lok St 14/F Cheung's Building, Sheung Wan
