Felting pre-dates knitting, crochet and weaving by thousands of years. Felt is created when animal fibers are exposed to moisture, heat and agitation hence a miracle occurs and fibers become locked together. Felt is extremely strong and durable. Uses of felt include tents for shelter, blankets, hats, and carpets, In this traditional & natural organic workshop, participants will learn traditional wet felting methods, learn about different animal fibers, along with fiber processing skills and craft an amazing Arabian inspired carpet.
