Beat the sun this summer in Abu Dhabi by taking full advantage of the lush palm trees that grow all over the city.
Kids will learn how to custom craft their own personal coconut palm leaf sun hats from scratch from master palm weaving instructor Mike Metzger. Workshop will include where to source palm leaf material, how to prepare your palm leaves for making hats and how to care for your hats after completion.
No weaving experience required. Children ages 8-12 are most welcome.
Bring workshop appropriate clothing. You will get messy.
