Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship is back for its tenth year

 

Held under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship is back for its tenth year celebrating ‘A decade of champions’ in parallel with the Year of Zayed.

Taking place from April 16th, this edition will be exceptional and unique as it celebrates 10 years of success at both local and international levels, bringing together the most renowned talents in the world of Jiu-Jitsu at the Mubadala Arena, Zayed Sports City.

The championship will be dedicated to the following categories: Juniors, Teens, Parathletes and professionals in various belt categories, seeing fighters from over 100 countries gathering in the capital to fight it out for the world titles and the highest prize fund in the history of the tournament of up to AED 4 million.

This year’s ADWPJJC will also witness a new addition to the competition, the King of the Mat, where winners from the past 9 years will face each other to compete for the title. Register here
