About Hili Fun City

Unveiled by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Muhammad Al Nahyan in 1985, Hili Fun City was referred to as the Disneyland of the GCC, hosting visitors from all over the region including several royal families and VIPs. This much loved theme park reopened on November 27, 2009 after having undergone a complete refurbishment and transformation. Hili Fun City is packed with more than 30 attractions ranging from thrilling rides and adventures to gentle rides for children of all ages and there's plenty for both mum and dad to enjoy too.
The fun never stops at Hili Fun City, so come down and have the time of your life.

General enquires: Hili fun city is a family theme park, where in the visitors are expected to follow the queuing rules set up for the safety and security of all. Separate queue system is followed for ladies, Gents and families and all are expected to follow the queue rules. It strictly forbidden to crisscross queue or jump over the fences and the offenders will be force to leave the park.

Safety and securiry: Visitors are expected to respect and follow the safety rules attached to the entrance area and all game enclosures. The operating staff has the authority to refuse the entry for those who violated these rules.

KIDS Attractions:

CIRCUS SWING: A kiddie's version of the Hili Swinger, the Circus Swing is made up of 20 individual swings suspended by long chains that swing around a brightly coloured central pole. Height: You must be at least 1.01m (39in) tall to ride Circus Swing.
CIRCUS TRAIN: Climb in with the magicians, ride with the conductors or slip into the animals' wagon. You must be at least 0.94m (37in) tall to ride Circus Train. Height: Children between 0.76 cm - 0.91 cm should be accompanied by adult
CRAZY CLOWN: These six wonderfully painted drums not only rotate around on a circular platform, but also give the more daring kids a chance to clown around even more by controlling how much they spin around individually. Height: You must be at least 1.05m (41in) tall to ride Crazy Clown.
FUNNY TRAFFIC: Funny Traffic is a dynamic ride that is suitable for children who will love challenging their friends and siblings with the ten electric bumper cars and playing 'chicken'. Height: You must be between 0.80m - 1.50m (31in - 58in) tall to ride the cars on Funny Traffic.
FLYING CLOWNS: The vibrantly coloured clowns are enough to put a smile on your face even before you've hopped on. The 8 carts lift up and rotate around a central pole at a tilted angle sending the little ones flying through the air with their merry clown friends. Height: You must be between 0.76m and 1.35m (30in - 53in) tall to ride on Flying Clowns. Children between 0.76m and 0.91m (30in - 36in) must be accompanied by an older child.
JUMPING STAR: The 6 seats are all arranged in a row so everyone can see your faces as you bounce up and down on the ride, so put on a brave face and give your adoring fans a hearty laugh. Height: You must be at least 0.89m (35in) tall to ride Jumping Star.
SAFARI: Safari is a charming ride for the little ones. The six bright, zebra-striped safari Jeeps are a joy to ride as they go on safari in Al Ain. Let their imagination run wild as they look out for animals hiding in the bushes, waving to you as they go by. Height: You must be between 0.76m and 1.35 m (30in - 53in) to ride Safari. Children between 0.76m and 0.91m (30in - 36in) must be accompanied by an older child.
MINI AIRPORT: Mini Airport is a fun and colourful ride for the little ones. Each of the 6 planes or helicopters has an adorable face and character painted on it making it irresistibly sweet. Once on board the flying machines, the ride rotates slowly, much like windmill blades giving the kids a chance to get a view of Hili Fun City from above. Height: You must be between 0.91m and 1.35 m (36in - 53in) to ride Mini Airport. Children between 0.91m and 1.14m (36in - 45in) must be accompanied by an older child.

Family Attraction:

HILI SWINGER: A fun ride for the entire family, its 32 individual swing seats are suspended by long chains that lift off the ground and twirl at a tilted angle around a central pole. Once the swinging begins, so does the fun as you flare out and fly about through the air. Jump on and let this new attraction swing you about with delight and transport you back to the days when you used to swing up high in the park. Height: You must be at least 1.05m (41in) tall to ride Hili Swinger.
HILI EXPRESS: The three-wagon Hili Express is the perfect ride for adventurers of all ages. This safe, slow moving train takes you on a wonderful journey around the entire park, giving you a 360 view of all the attractions on offer. Below 30 inches (0.76m) the child must be safely attached in the baby chair and accompanied by an adult. Height: From 30 inches (0.76m) to 48 inches (1.22m) must be accompanied by an adult.
CAROUSEL: This old favourite took 2000 hours to repaint and they're sure you're going to love the end result. The intricate design on the two-tiered Carousel reflects the charm of Arabia and the magic of childhood stories. With 38 seats to choose from you can take a ride in a royal carriage or atop the elegant horses and enchanting animals. This fairytale ride is a classic attraction for both the young and young-at-heart. Height: Children up to 30 " (0.76m) must be accompanied by an adult and use only the ground level carriages. From 30" (0.76m) to 48" (1.22m) must be accompanied by an adult and use just the ground level seats.
TRAFFIC JAM: Strap yourself into your mean machine, target a friend or family member, give them a bump and laugh about it! It may sound harsh, but those are the rules. It's lots of fun and a great way to release some pent up energy in a safe and controlled environment. Practise your car chase skills and dodge other cars as you try to avoid being bumped yourself. Where else can you say you had fun and let loose in a Traffic Jam? Height: You must be at least 1.35m (53in) tall to ride the cars on Traffic Jam.
PARATROOPER: With 12 individual seats in bright shades of red, blue, yellow and green the Paratrooper is a ride the entire family can enjoy. Jump up into your parachuted seat and fasten your seatbelts because it's time for take off. Put your hands up in the air and swing your legs about as you lift up and rotate around a central pole at a tilted angle. Height: You must be at least 0.76m (30in) tall to ride on Paratrooper. Children between 0.76m and 1.22m (30in - 48in) must be accompanied by an adult.
RAZY MARINA: Hop on board the electric bumper boats on the new Crazy Marina. Not only will you have tons of fun bumping into your family and friends, you can also try and get them wet! Splash about on swans and seahorses or rule the waters as swashbuckling pirates. You can be sure to get lots of laughs out of this ride, and maybe even a few splatters! Height: This ride is not included in the entrance fee. Tickets cost AED 10 per person. For a 1 seat boat you must be a child between 0.91m and 1.26m (36in - 49in) to ride this boat and a life jacket is mandatory. For a 2 seat boat you must be at least 0.91m (36in) tall to ride on this boat. Children between 0.91m and 1.48m (36in - 58in) must be accompanied by an adult and life jacket is mandatory.
SINBAD CRUISE: Rent out one of the new migrating water birds pedal boats and go on a leisurely cruise on the Hili Fun City lake. Float past the designated barbeque areas and watch the rides around the lake as you catch up on each other's stories and take in the sounds of the birds chirping in the trees above you.
ICE RINK: The Hili Fun City Ice Rink is Olympic-sized and was founded in 1987, two years after the opening of the park. It is the first Ice rink to open in the UAE. Boasting great facilities means it is the ideal venue whether you are learning to skate, play ice hockey or if you wish to have a great time with friends. Due to the high class facilities, The Hili Fun City Ice Rink was chosen to be the main venue for the Emirates and Abu Dhabi Hockey teams to perform their trainings.

Children of 0.89 metres (35 inches) and below: free.
