Riverwood Nursery is dedicated to supporting young children's growth, with developmentally appropriate education.

Together with the families we share a common vision and commitment to adequately enhance the development growth of every child. We partner with the community around us, and utilize their resources, which help us to foster a stronger community enriched environment.

School year and term dates

Nursery Calendar is available from the Nursery upon request.
Riverwood Nursery School is open Sundays - Thursdays from 7am to 5pm. Main classroom time is from 8am to 1pm. From 1pm to 2pm students participate in leisure activities of their choice. Parents can opt to leave their children in the Nursery for waiting class until 5pm and bring them as early as 7am.

Families are welcome to use these hours in a way that best meets their schedule. The school operates on a year round basis with the exception of breaks and holidays. Dates of breaks and holidays are noted on the school calendar and follow the ADEC school calendar.
Should you not wish your child to go on school day trips, please inform the teacher and keep your child at home for the day. School trips are an additional charge but parents will be advised of the cost involved. Permission slips together with the amount must be returned to the teacher at least one day before the planned trip.
