TriYAS by Daman's ActiveLife 2018, the region's only day to night triathlon is back at Yas Marina Circuit for the 8th consecutive year.
For the eighth consecutive year Yas Marina Circuit will be welcoming people of all abilities to TriYAS by Daman’s ActiveLife, the region’s only twilight triathlon and UAE’s community first timer triathlon. TriYAS is open to everyone with the emphasis on setting personal targets and achieving them whether you are a first timer or a seasoned veteran. Swim the Yas Marina, transition the Grand Prix pits, Cycle the 5.5K track and Run through the Yas Marina as you achieve your goal. TriYAS is a true community race, and is a guaranteed fun day out for the whole family.
This three new categories over shorter distances have been introduced to encourage even more first timers and whilst also providing more options for the more experienced triathletes to get most out of their day at TriYAS.
These new categories are as follows:
T1 – 100m Swim x 3k Bike x 1k Run
T2 – 200m Swim x 6k Bike x 2k Run
T3 – 300m Swim x 9k bike x 3k Run
These are perfect for first timers, kids as well as the more experienced triathletes looking for warm up before their main TriYAS sprint or Olympic race later in the day.
