Children’s Storytelling

  • 9.00am – 10.00am

Little Otter’s mom sends him across the lake for the first time to get food for his family but on the way, he discovers that there is a THING in the pond. He’s terrified and the advice from the other animals is just making things worse. Will he make it to the other side and back home again?

After the thrilling tales of Little Otter, you can look forward to a fun and interesting craft section! Learn how to make desk tidy organizer out of recyclable materials and display your artistic skills!

Understanding Plant Nutrition in Edible Plants

  • 2.00pm – 2.45pm

How do you tell that a plant is lacking in a certain nutrient? What are the factors that affect the uptake of nutrients? Can you overfeed a plant? Get answers to these questions and more by attending this virtual talk by Wilson Wong.

Gardening Q&A 

  • 3.00pm – 3.45pm

Have issues growing plants in your garden? Join us in this virtual meeting to get them answered by our in-house horticulturist, Dr Wilson Wong. This session will be run monthly during Bazaar in the Garden.

Bonsai Appreciation

  •  4.00pm – 4.45pm

Bonsai is an Asian art form that has been practised by East Asian civilisations since the 6th century. Originating from China, the art of bonsai has developed into a myriad of different types and styles. Learn more about the different type of bonsais and how to appreciate them!
