A family-friendly event, Got To Walk is a 5km walkathon and family carnival that promises fun while contributing to a good cause.
As part of KDF’s fundraising events, all proceeds from the event will directly go towards supporting beneficiaries’ life-saving dialysis treatments.
As a registered charity, KDF is provides dialysis treatments to underprivileged patients – the bottom 10% of the population – with end-stage kidney disease to ensure that no patient should perish because of the lack of funds for dialysis.
Event Highlights
- 5km Fun Walk:
The walk, themed ‘Beat Diabetes, Protect Your Kidneys,’ aims to inspire participants to adopt healthier habits and prevent diabetes, one of the leading causes of kidney failure. Look forward to the scenic backdrop of Singapore’s iconic skyline against the sunset, as you take each step with the community towards better kidney health. Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat and local celebrities including Xiang Yun, Richard Low, and Romeo Tan will be participating in the walk as well.
- Family Carnival:
After the walk, frolic at the Family Carnival, filled with engaging, kidney health-themed games and activities. Highlights include:
- Mass warm-up and workout session led by REVL Fitness
- Live performances by Bonnie Loo, Desmond Ng and various local talents
- Caricature drawing, kids bouncy castle, face painting and games
- Grand lucky draw with exciting prizes
You will receive $20 worth of vouchers, redeemable at the carnival’s activity booths, allowing you to experience everything the event has to offer.
