St. Hilda’s Kindergarten is a private kindergarten dedicated to providing quality care and education for all children.

It adopts a developmentally appropriate programme so that each child may learn and grow cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

In their school programme, they nuture and develop in children a love for reading. Daily activities include pre-reading and pre-writing exercises at the nursery levels, progressing to reading and writing at K1 and K2. Other learning experiences are incorporated into the lessons in indoor and outdoor play, art and craft and music and movement.

Their curriculum is designed to:

Develop safe and healthy habits in young children with an emphasis on proper hygiene, sound nutrition and physical exercise.
Foster positive self-esteem.
Provide opportunities for creative expression.
Develop social skills such as sharing, cooperation, generosity and empathy.
Stimulate cognitive problem-solving skills with an emphasis on the concepts of cause and effect, classification, serialization, space, time, numbers, shapes and colours.
Strengthen communication skills necessary for listening, reading, writing and speaking by providing an environment rich in the practical uses of words.
