The Story Corner.sg in collaboration with Curiosity Kids hk bring forth a very special workshop this March, especially designed for all the adventurous little pirates out there!
If you're in the mood of becoming a pirate for a day, go on a treasure hunt, cross the island of hurdles and fine clues through fun science experiments, join us!
Details of the workshop:
- Read aloud session of 'The Treasure of Pirate Frank' using a Magic Story Jar and prop box.
- Help Frank solve clues and find the hidden treasure while he crosses the Island of frozen ice❄ and stops by a volcano.
- Find the treasure while creating a map on a parched paper and observing fingerprints through invisible ink ✒.
Do all the above while posing as a pirate and getting hands dirty while learning how to make a volcano and see it explode.
We recreate this great story and also give ideas on how to structure a week of writing while creating your own pirate story. A great thinking camp for kids that helps them recognize the power of observation and learn fundamental concepts of science in a fun way.
