This course covers the basics of First Aid and CPR for Adults, Children and Infants.
This course draws upon the instructors' extensive paediatric nursing knowledge to answer those" must know' queries.
They will also spend a little time explaining 'what not to do' in emergencies.
- How to recognise an emergency,
- What to do to protect yourself and others,
- And how to activate and use an "Emergency Action Plan".
The First Aid section primarily covers emergency care for
- Severe bleeding,
- Fractures,
- Muscle injuries,
- Burns,
- Poisoning,
- Heat exhaustion
- Allergies
- Cold related illnesses,
- Bites and Stings.
The CPR section covers the emergency care for
- Choking,
- Drowning,
- Breathing emergencies,
- Cardiac Emergencies.

First Aid Tuition Pte Ltd was founded in 2009 in Singapore by Anne Greetham. Anne is an experienced UK trained Adult and Paediatric Nurse, mum and Certified American Red Cross, EFR and ASHI Instructor. Anne's vision is to make First Aid and CPR easily accessible to the whole community and that is exactly what she has been doing for the last 8 years! Teaching First Aid and CPR to parents, helpers, teachers, scouts, teenagers and in the corporate workplace.
Rachel Kelly joined the team earlier this year and shares Anne's vision and is passionate about empowering people to know what to do in an emergency. Rachel is an experienced UK trained Adult Nurse, specialising in Intensive Care Nursing, a mum to 3 busy young boys, a Reflexologist and a Certified ASHI First Aid and CPR Instructor.
Lunch will be served. Babies in arms welcome.
