We start the workshop with exploring the farm through a guided tour where we specifically search for and focus our discussion on Beneficial Bugs.
We talk about why specific bugs are a beneficial part for our eco-system. We discuss concepts like organic farming, healthy soil and vermi-composting.
Kids get an up close and personal with earthworms and a hands-on experience to mine earthworms in a controlled environment. Finally, we discuss food waste and understand how our little warriors - The Black Soldier Flies can break down food and reduce food waste.
