Have fun in this Maker’s space, designed to be safe for children and youth.

Spend quality family time together to build woodwork projects!

We welcome bringing of your own materials, or make use of the materials provided. Contribute to global climate action in using the reclaimed wood from pallets to make useful or fun items for the family to treasure.

30 minutes of safety briefing + tools handling practice at 9.30am
Children below 13 have to be accompanied by an adult
Suitable for children age 5 and up, adults with small projects are welcome to use the space.
Free access to the hand tools including hammer, saw, hand drills, clamps and etc.

Duration : 2.5hrs (9:30am-12pm, Registration begins at 9:15am)
Each session will include 30 minutes of safety briefing + tools handling practice at 9.30am

By signing up for this activity, you are indicating that you (and the persons you had signed up for) have read and are agreeable to the following;
You are proceeding with the activity base on your full and free consent.
Should there be unfavorable weather or unforeseen circumstances on the date of the event, the activity shall be canceled. Ground-Up Initiative (GUI) or any staff or person in the organization will not bear any consequences resulting from the cancellation of the said activity.
You shall not be entitled to claim any compensation or other relief from the organization (e.g. Ground-Up Initiative (GUI)) or against any staff or person in the organization in respect of any injury/accident/loss which you may sustain/suffer while in the activity.
All expenses that may be incurred in the treatment of such injuries will be borne by you and no claim will be referred to the organization on this account.
