Students learn the basics of electronic circuitry, microcontroller and code, and combine these with crafting skills to create their very own magical tech device!
Parents are welcome to join the last 45 mins of the bootcamp as students demonstrate their magical digital crafts.
What students learn in Digital Making with Micro:bit:
- Introduction to "magical objects", the ubiquitous tech around us.
- Introduction to the Micro:bit.
- Introduction to code.
- Hands-on make-crafting.
- Design thinking and the making of magical objects.
- Working with electrical modules including buzzers, LEDs, accelerometer, radio and more.
- Fundamental code structures including events, variables, conditionals, loops, functions.
