In the Game & Animation Coding Bootcamp, kids grow from mere gamers into confident coders who are able to design, plan, develop and fix their own game and animation projects.
Furthermore, they learn the fundamentals of coding and algorithms in a fun, engaging environment.
With plenty of hands-on coding, students leave the bootcamp with a collection of games and animations that they proudly coded themselves!
Parents are welcome to join the last 45 mins of the bootcamp for a show and tell session!
What students learn in Game & Animation Coding:
- Familiarization with Scratch 2.0 and its interface.
- Introduction to basic coding concepts.
- Game story boarding, project planning and incremental programming concepts.
- Coding with motions, sounds, character controls, conditionals.
- Testing and debugging.
- Game scoring.
