The Robotics & Coding Bootcamp is where students become active robot engineers, by building and coding their own smart robot.
Students learn the mehcanical, electrical and software components of a robot. Students then code their robots to behave (partly) like human beings.
Parents are welcome to join the last 45 mins of the bootcamp as students demonstrate their robot creations!
What students learn in Robotics & Coding:
- Introduction to robots, what they are and what is possible.
- Hands-on robot building.
- Robot hardware and how to handle them.
- Understanding the electrical components of the robot.
- Understanding sensors including the ultrasonic sensor, line-following sensor and light sensor.
- Coding robots to behave in particular ways.
- Fundamental code structures including events, variables, conditionals, loops, functions.
