Ingredient List:
- Bee Hoon 1 packet (400gm) (Soaked in hot water until soft)
- Cooked Shrimp 100gm
- Bean sprouts 100gm
- Chinese Chives 15gm
- Tau Pok (Diced) 3pcs
- Tau Kwa (Diced and fried ) 1pc
- Hard Boiled eggs (sliced) 3pcs
Rempah:
- Chilli Paste 1 to 2 tablespoon
- Red Chilli 6pcs
- Shallots 80gm
- Garlic 30gm
- Salt (To taste)
- Sugar 50gm
- Assam Paste 50gm
- Tau Cheo (Ground Bean Paste) 50gm
- Dried Shrimps (Washed and Chooped) 50gm
Recipe
- Prepare the Rempah, blend to form a paste.
- Heat up the wok and add approximately 50ml of oil.
- Add dried shrimps to sauce, cook till fragrant.
- Add Tau Cheo, cook till fragrant.
- Add Rempah, cook till fragrant, approximately 5 minutes.
- Add the seasoning (Sugar, Assam, Salt). Combine the Rempah base well before adding the pre-soaked bee hoon.
- Add in the Shrimps, Tau Pok, Tau Kwa and bean sprouts last.
- Garnish with Hard Boiled Eggs, extra Chinese Chives, Lime, Tau Pok and Sambal.
