Rubbish Prince Thematic Workshop: Fused Plastic Bags by Three Pumpkins
In this 25 mins workshop, participants are introduced to plastic fusing technique to create “plastic fabric”. This technique is used to create the overall coat for the character of rubbish child. Finished work can be brought home by the participants.
Limited to 20 participants per 25 mins workshop.

Rubbish Prince Thematic Workshop: Plarn (Plastic Yarn) Making by Three Pumpkins
In this 25-min workshop, participants are introduced to ways of making plarn from plastic bags. Participants can also expect to learn simple finger crochet technique. The weaving technique is used to create the hat for the rubbish child puppet, as well as the backdrop for the show

Cardboard Toy Making by Playeum
In a 25-minute workshop, children are encouraged to be participatory and be conscious about upcycling through a facilitated session of turning recyclable items into toys that they can bring home.
Materials will be provided and children are encouraged to bring their own recyclable items to contribute to the craft session. Remember that anything under the sun can be an inspiration for your lil’ ones to make their own upcycled toys!

Theatre Performance: Hug The Tree by Paper Monkey Theatre
Inspired by an old Indian folktale, Hug the Tree takes us on a journey with a group of villagers in The Chipko movement as they stood united in a non-violent protest to save trees from being felled in eco-sensitive regions.
Featuring specially crafted puppets in a dynamic display of sets and props, riddled with infectious delightful tunes, Hug the Tree promises to enchant, enthral and entertain from start to finish.
