In order to inculcate young minds with a love of reading and learning Chinese, National Library Board has jointly set up “Tween Avid Readers” with Arts & Culture Group of Singapore Lam Ann Association and Chee Sze Poh Press.
The club will take place on the first Saturday of each month at the Sengkang Public Library.
It is conducted in Mandarin and suitable for children aged 10 to 13.
The one-hour programme comprises of reading and sharing, multimedia interactive activities and quizzes.
