The Red Pencil (Singapore) Art to HeART Charity Art Exhibition 2026

The Red Pencil (Singapore) is pleased to announce the return of its flagship fundraising event, the Art to HeART Charity Art Exhibition 2026.

Returning after its successful inaugural showcase in 2023, the second edition will be held from 10 to 12 April 2026 at The Culture Story, presenting a confluence of artistic excellence and compassionate action.

At its core, the exhibition demonstrates how the visual art medium — the foundation of The Red Pencil (Singapore)’s therapeutic work — can transcend therapy rooms to become a wellspring of inspiration and beauty for the wider community.

With a fundraising target of $150,000, the event invites the public to engage with art not merely as spectators, but as active participants in a movement for mental wellness. Proceeds directly support art therapy programmes that provide underprivileged communities with a vital pathway to emotional resilience.

This year's showcase brings together over 30 of Singapore's most esteemed artists, united in their commitment to this cause. The distinguished line-up includes husband-and-wife duo Chow & Lin; veteran contemporary art icon Tang Da Wu; master Chinese ink artist Anthony Chua Say Hua; and artist-curator Zulkhairi Zulkiflee. The exhibition will also pay tribute to the late Chen Yi Quan, whose works serve as a poignant reminder of art's lasting impact. Further enriching the showcase are contributions from art therapists Yen Chua and Amanda Chen, creating a direct visual link between practice and purpose.

"After a successful inaugural run in 2023, we are pleased to bring back Art to HeART Charity Art Exhibition for its second edition," said Mr Anthony Ang, Board Chairman, The Red Pencil (Singapore). "This is an opportunity for the public to see firsthand how artistic expression supports mental wellbeing. More importantly, it allows us to rally support for our art therapy programmes, which make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. We are grateful to the artists who have so generously contributed their works to this cause."

Visitors are invited to adopt artworks through donation. In 2026, thanks to a matching initiative, every dollar donated will count twice, amplifying the reach of this vital cause. Beyond acquisition, the exhibition serves as a vibrant gathering space, offering Art Therapy Experiential Workshops where attendees can gain understanding of the therapeutic process, alongside Artist Talks that provide insights into the intersection of creativity and emotional expression.

Mr Chong Huai Seng, Co-founder of The Culture Story and Advisor to The Red Pencil (Singapore), shared, "When The Red Pencil team approached me about bringing 'Art to HeART' to our space, I gladly offered to support as the last event held in 2023 was a resounding success. It is heartwarming for me on a personal level to bring my circle of artists, friends, art lovers and collectors to the same setting and promote the good work done by The Red Pencil. At The Culture Story, we believe in the power of art to forge meaningful connections, spark conversations and inspire us to leave a legacy."
