The Sunbird Child Development Centre is a private limited company.

Its main objective is to provide holistic care, development and education for children from 18 months to 6 years old. The programme at Sunbird is based on a strong foundation of values for living – values that can positively shape the lives of children from childhood through their adult years. These are the values of love, kindness and compassion, integrity, generosity, team-spiritedness, persistence and a love for learning.

Sunbird identifies and nurtures children’s multiple intelligences – starting from where they are - and work with parents to bring these intelligences into fruition.

They have programmes for the care, development and education of children from 18 months to 6 years.

Toddlers:18 - 24 months
Nursery I:2 - 3 years
Nursery II:3 - 4 years
Kindergarten I:4 - 5 years
Kindergarten II:5 - 6 years

Your child will learn things that are meaningful for his or her development. Specifically, he or she will develop:

Thinking skills on how to solve problems appropriate for his/her age
Social interpersonal skills on ways to get along and play well with others
Logical mathematical skills and explore scientific information in daily life
Languages:- both English and Mandarin, to communicate information, ideas, requests, to express feelings, etc
Creative expression, in written and spoken words, and through dance, songs, drawings, paintings and craft creations
Art and aesthetics:- to appreciate things of beauty
Values like honesty, kindness, love, compassion, courage, responsibility and respect
Self-help skills:- to care for self and personal belonging, to be independent in hygiene, dressing, putting on shoes, feeding, to make choices
