This course is designed for younger kids to learn the fundamentals of coding and robotics in a fun way. Students will learn coding with robots and iPad coding games, e.g. Fisher-Price Think & Learn Code-a-pillar, Kodable, Codeable Crafts, and More. Basic key concepts about coding will be taught in this course.
*Please bring your own iPad.
Lesson 1-3: Coding Fun with Fisher-Price Code-a-pillar
- Understand programming sequences and simple commands
- Learn repeat loop concepts
- Learn how to program the robotic toys to complete a task
Lesson 4: Block Programming with Kodable and Codeable Crafts
- Learn Programming Blocks to create animation stories
Lesson 5: Build and code your own robots
- Build robots with bricks and program it to move.
Requirements:
- No programming skills required
- Bring your own iPad
