CATCH and Fairchild Kindergarten and Munchkins present to you the Fresh Market-to-Table afternoon and cooking workshop.

A fun opportunity to explore and learn about buying, preparing and enjoying food together with your children. We will experience a typical Hong Kong wet market (Sai Ying Pun Wet Market) - see, touch and taste seasonal vegetables. We will then head to the beautiful Fairchild Kindergarten space in Sai Ying Pun to get creative in their open plan kitchen with the ingredients - cooking and enjoying our vegetable focused dinner together.

Plus all participants will receive a WittyBear planner kit! A beautifully designed planner that you can stick on your fridge to keep track of life. It includes food shopping lists, expense checklists, recipes, event checklists (for birthday, schools trips) and emergency contacts and more.

What will I get out of the day?

Explore and learn about buying, preparing & eating food with other children & parents
Experience a typical Wet Market – see, touch, taste and learn more about fresh and seasonal vegetables
Get creative with our children as we prepare a meal together – and then eat it after!
Have fun with our children & like-minded parents who love healthy food!

What do I need to bring?

Tupperware for taking any left-over food home
Wear shoes that cover the whole foot as the market can be slippery (wet!)
Bring socks for Fairchild Kindergarten’s play campus
Wear appropriate clothes for cooking – e.g. longer sleeved tops, longer shorts or loose trousers
