A brand new collaboration workshop with Art-ism Studio featuring Silk Painting in French style!
The technique uses a special gutta to draw barrier lines to create areas for silk painting. Quality silk paint by renown French brand “Lefranc et Bourgeois” will be used in this class, where you can create your own, unique silk piece. The theme for this workshop is Rose!
The 3-hour workshop includes:
- Introduction to Serti Technique.
- Demonstration of the full technique.
- Discuss the use of colours and share tips on technique.
- Participant to draft their own pattern, apply gutta and silk paint. Instructor will assist as needed to complete a piece of 25 X 25 cm silk painting in class.
Language: Cantonese supplemented with English.
Fee: $580, includes all materials needed for the workshop (a piece of 25X25cm pure silk and all painting materials) and a drink of your choice from our café.
Suitable for anyone 12 years of age or older. No painting experience needed.
