"I hope that people find themselves in my feline characters. It is interesting how people react differently to the same drawing. For instance, some people find the caricature of a guilty kitten adorable, while others pity them. In some ways, everyone draws on their well of experience to give the illustrations meaning. I wish the audience could observe their response and treat it as a window to understand themselves better. Of course, the drawings also leave room for imagination, adding some sparks into people’s lives,” Nyangsongi said.
