“I like to see how people interact with my work and the comments they leave for each drawing. To me, creating resonance is very fulfilling.” – Mr. Paul
Life is fun! Adding a little humor with imagination, we can turn daily life into a joke effortlessly. The popular dark humor illustrator Mr. Paul is good at playing on words and using colorful tones to create a series of resonant and funny illustrations. Nearly 50 selected artworks Inspired from daily life
Most of Mr. Paul’s inspiration comes from life: chatting with friends, shopping, dining, working, and conversations between young people etc. When he hears a word or phrase, he often turns it fun and creates unexpected and interesting illustrations. The picturization of the words is one of the characteristics of his works. Through simple illustrations and words, people can instantly understand the hidden messages and resonance. The exhibition features nearly 50 of his most popular works in the past 8 years, including “Earn a living with face”, “Young hunk”, “Polite neck muscle” and “Be pregnant for 10 months, over drinking for 10 months” etc., which makes people laugh.
