Highgate House School keeps focused structured activities appropriate to the age of the children and to allow the children freedom to explore. This group is aimed at enriching family life by helping support children’s healthy development, giving ideas on celebrating festivals, practicing including children in daily tasks which can also be done at home, and encouraging early social skills through forming new friendships. By participating in these sessions children begin to form a link with the school as a whole. This can help provide an easier transition at a later stage to nursery/kindergarten as the child builds trust in his/her environment.
