Water is a good medium of energy apart from electricity. In the workshops, kids will learn how water can serve as a form of energy source by constructing a hydraulic elevator.
Hydraulic elevator utilises fluid power and mechanical dynamics to stretch a working platform high and low. The theory is applied to a movable working platform in a shopping mall or workstations at a road which helps workers to fix overhead cables. Construct your own hydraulic elevator using water as a fluid medium and test it out in a lifting competition. (End-product can be taken away).
