Speech Festival Workshops (5 – 8 years)
Kids’ Gallery has consistently prepared place winners of this festival, and our tailored workshop provides children with the opportunity to ne-tune their performance skills.
Students practise pieces in the Open Competition categories and work intensively on vocal projection, articulation, and expression techniques in order to give an informed and condent performance.
Children are taught to understand the meaning and context of the pieces, as well as how to use phrasing, pace, and rhythm for dramatic effect in performance.
The open class for parents and friends at the end of the workshop allows students to show off what they have learned and gain valuable practice in front of an audience before the competition itself.
