The future of fashion design will undoubtedly be linked with technology, this can be seen from the from the prevalence of wearable technology such as the i-watch and is increasingly being seen on the fashion runway.
During these four workshop sessions, you will learn to merge traditional crafts with cutting-edge technology.
You will learn the basics of fashion design and garment construction as well as be thought the techniques you will need to make and programme Arduino components.
Using the instruction and your imagination you will push boundaries and create the future of fashion!
Class Details:
- Age: 14+
- Duration: 4 weeks (2-hour sessions)
- Where: MakerBay Central (PMQ Unit H-508)
- Stipulations: 4 student minimum.
This workshop is suitable for participants who have no previous knowledge of electronics, Microcontrollers or programming.
