Ocean Park Summer Adventure Camp offers your child a brand new explorative journey!
Incorporating the Nature Play and Experiential Learning Approach, also adopting the concept of “The 7 Habits of Happy Kids”as the framework, campers are empowered to explore the world and also themselves at their own pace and follow their own interests.
The unique environment of Ocean Park could accommodate a wide range of learning styles and provide stimulations, a series of animal observation, group and individual challenges and open-ended experience are designed to unleash campers ‘potential, meanwhile to cultivate communication, interpersonal and co-operation skills which pave the path for them to become a caring, confident and responsible Explorer.
Programmes:
Little Explorers will tackle lots of challenges with their teammates. To complete these challenges, apart from applying their knowledge of nature, personal skills and traits, cooperation, appreciation, and sharing between teammates will also inevitably be required. Upon completing the challenges, explorers will be encouraged by "Explorer Badges". Attention team. It’s time to explore!
Junior Explorers is now recruiting campers aged 6-8 who are willing to make new friends and learn new things. This time you will plan your own journey with camper-mates. In the journey, you will be challenged and learn the importance of prioritising tasks and caring for others. With support from the team, and planning and communication skills, you will be able to accomplish all your challenges! By then, all explorers will have been encouraged by "Explorer Badges" and recognized as honorary Junior Explorers!
Adventurous Explorers will taste the job of animal trainers this summer. You are invited to go to different animal back-of-house areas as an "animal trainer trainee". To be a qualified trainee, you will have to demonstrate your outstanding patience, detailed observation skills, and good communication skills. Besides helping animal trainers with their daily work, Adventurous Explorers will work with their camper-mates to design and propose new toys for animals or tools to enhance the trainers’ job. The Team will also stay overnight at the Grand Aquarium to undergo a special mission.
